Who we are

CloudBrum is built in India for cloud learners, engineers, architects, team leads and decision-makers anywhere in the world. We believe that picking a cloud service should not need a week of reading scattered documentation, so we explain each service the same way, in plain language, on one page.

The website is operated by CloudBrum, part of the SimplyAtoZ group. Full business details are in the Contact and business details section below.

What we do

Our core product is a growing library of service pages for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. Every page follows the same 17-point framework, so you can compare services quickly and never wonder what is missing:

Understand

Key features, basic concepts, how to create and configure the service, and where it fits (and where it does not).

Decide

Use cases, pros and trade-offs, pricing, and similar or alternative services on the other two clouds.

Protect

Common issues after configuration, threats and vulnerabilities, security optimisation, governance and compliance.

Optimise and prove

Performance and cost optimisation, carbon footprint, code references, videos and interview questions.

We also publish provider and category overviews, a mind map for each service that you can download and share, and a searchable index across all three clouds.

Who it is for

  • Engineers and developers who need a trustworthy first read before opening the official documentation.
  • Architects and team leads who compare services across AWS, Azure and GCP and need a defensible decision.
  • Security, governance and FinOps teams who look for risks, controls and cost levers in one place.
  • Students and job seekers preparing for cloud roles, certifications and interviews.
  • Business owners and founders who want to understand what they are paying for.

Independence and trademarks

CloudBrum is an independent website. We are not owned by, sponsored by, endorsed by or affiliated with Amazon Web Services, Inc., Microsoft Corporation or Google LLC.

AWS, Amazon EC2 and related names are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Microsoft and Azure are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Google, Google Cloud and related names are trademarks of Google LLC. All other names are the property of their respective owners. We use them only to identify the services we describe (nominative use), and logos or icons appear only to help readers recognise a service. Where the official artwork is shown, it remains the property of its owner.

Images, icons, logos and other marks of third parties on this website are the property of their respective companies, organisations and owners, as set out in our Disclaimer.

We are not a reseller or partner of any cloud provider unless a page clearly says so. If that ever changes, we will tell you on the relevant page before you make any decision.

How we create our content

  1. Primary sources first. We start from official provider documentation, pricing pages, service-level agreements and well-architected guidance, and we credit what we used in a References & credits list at the bottom of each page.
  2. One consistent structure. The 17-point format keeps pages comparable and stops important topics, such as security and cost, from being skipped.
  3. Review dates. Each page shows when it was last reviewed. Cloud services change often, so please verify time-sensitive facts such as prices, limits and regions in the official documentation.
  4. Plain language. We prefer short sentences and real examples over marketing wording.
  5. Use of AI tools. We may use AI-assisted tools for drafting, translation or editing. Every page is checked by a person before publication. Our optional “Ask AI” feature hands your question to a third-party AI assistant that you choose; see the Privacy Policy.

Corrections and feedback

We want to be right. Every service page has a Report an issue button and a Confused? Need help? form. If you find an error, an outdated statement or a broken link, tell us. We review every report, correct confirmed mistakes promptly and update the “last reviewed” date.

How we are funded

CloudBrum is free to read. To cover hosting and writing costs we may show advertising (for example through Google AdSense or other ad partners) and sponsored or recommended content. Advertising never changes what we write. Ads are always labelled “Advertisement” or “Sponsored content” and are kept separate from our articles. Details on cookies and ad personalisation are in our Privacy Policy.

If we ever add affiliate links or paid placements inside an article, we will mark them clearly.
