Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms before using CloudBrum. By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of cloudbrum.com and any related pages, forms and features (the “Website”). The Website is operated by CloudBrum, with its address at 9, Parashurampuri, Nathnagari, Uttar Pradesh 243001, India (“CloudBrum”, “we”, “us”).
These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. They do not need physical or digital signatures. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy & Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
2. Who may use the Website
The Website is meant for people who are 18 or older, or who are using it under the supervision of a parent, guardian or teacher. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. You must be legally able to enter into a contract under Indian law (the Indian Contract Act, 1872) to submit forms that ask you to agree to these Terms.
You do not need an account to read the Website.
3. Our content is general information
- Cloud services, features, prices, limits, regions and terms change frequently. We try to keep pages accurate and show a last-reviewed date, but we do not guarantee that any page is complete, current or error-free.
- Always check the official documentation, pricing pages and service agreements of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud before you decide, buy or deploy anything.
- Code samples, commands, templates and configurations are examples. Test them in a safe environment first. You run them at your own risk, and they may create cloud resources that cost money.
- Comparisons between providers are our editorial opinion based on public information and may not fit your situation.
- Tools. The service suggester, migration readiness checklist, Cloud Know-How Check, cloud changes tracker and free tier comparison are informational starting points. They are not a design review, an audit, a security or compliance assessment, a cost estimate or advice. Scores and suggestions are indicative, depend on what you enter, and may be incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for the decisions you make using them. The Cloud Know-How Check is a self-assessment. Its certificate of completion shows the name the visitor typed, so it proves nothing about identity or skill, is not an accredited certification and is not issued by or on behalf of AWS, Microsoft or Google.
- Free offers. Credits, free tiers, trials and eligibility rules belong to the cloud providers and change. We cannot promise that you will qualify or that the terms stay the same.
4. Acceptable use
When you use the Website you agree not to:
- break any law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, or infringe anyone’s rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or data, or interfere with its operation (including by sending malware, overloading it, or scraping it in a way that harms performance);
- use bots or automated means to inflate views, likes, votes or ad impressions, or to click on advertisements artificially (invalid activity);
- submit false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, hateful or infringing content, or personal data of other people without their permission;
- impersonate any person or organisation, or falsely claim to be connected with CloudBrum or any cloud provider;
- copy, republish or sell our content except as allowed in section 6;
- use the Website to build a competing dataset or to train machine-learning models, except where our content licence or robots rules allow it.
We may block access, remove content or limit features if we believe these rules have been broken.
5. What you send us
Forms on the Website (newsletter, PDF-to-inbox, feedback, issue reports, expert questions and contact forms) let you send us information such as your name, email address, phone number and message. You agree that what you send is accurate and that you have the right to send it.
You keep ownership of your messages. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use them to answer you, to improve our content and, in anonymised or summarised form, to understand what readers need. We will not publish your name or email address without your consent. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
A consultation ticket or enquiry asks us to contact you. It does not create a contract or promise any service. Scope, fees and timelines are agreed in writing before any work starts. If you include a tool result or summary, you confirm that it contains no confidential information that you are not entitled to share.
6. Intellectual property
The text, layout, mind maps, graphics, structure (including the 17-point framework as presented), logos and code of the Website are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and other laws. “CloudBrum” and our logo are our marks.
You may: read the Website; print a page or save it as a PDF for personal or internal learning; share a link; and quote a short excerpt with a clear credit and a link back to the original page. You may share our downloadable mind-map image if you keep the CloudBrum credit and link.
You may not copy whole pages or large parts of the Website, remove credits, or sell or republish our content without our written permission.
Third-party names and content. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and other names and logos belong to their owners, and we are not affiliated with them (see About us). Documentation we cite belongs to its publishers, whom we credit in each page’s References list. All logos, icons, images, screenshots and trademarks of other companies and organisations shown on the Website are the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification and editorial description, without any claim of ownership or endorsement. If you believe content on the Website infringes your rights, tell our Grievance Officer (see section 14) with the page address, proof of ownership and the content you object to, and we will review it promptly.
7. Advertising, links and third-party services
- Advertising. The Website may show ads and sponsored or recommended content provided by third parties, such as Google AdSense and Google Ad Manager. Ads are labelled. Advertisers are solely responsible for their ads, products and claims. We do not endorse them, and a dealing between you and an advertiser is between the two of you. Please do not click ads in order to support us; invalid clicks are against ad-network rules.
- Links. We link to official documentation and other sites for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
- “Ask AI” feature. This optional feature opens a third-party AI assistant of your choice (for example ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Microsoft Copilot or Perplexity) and passes it your question and, if shown, a short description and link of the page you are reading. That service has its own terms and privacy policy and may produce wrong answers. Check important details in the official documentation.
- Sharing and hand-off buttons. Buttons that share on WhatsApp, open an email or an AI assistant, or copy a link send what you chose to the third-party service you pick, under its own terms. A shared link can contain what you typed in its web address.
- Embedded media. Videos, when added, load from the video provider only after you click play.
8. Paid or sponsored offerings
The Website is free to read. If we offer paid training, consulting, listings, sponsorship or other services (for example under “Offerings” or “Marketplace”), they are governed by the order form or separate terms shown at the time of purchase, including price, taxes (GST where applicable), delivery and refund terms. Prices on such pages are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated. For billing questions write to hello@cloudbrum.com.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or harmful components. See also the Disclaimer.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, CloudBrum, its owners, directors, employees and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business, or for cloud charges you incur, arising from your use of or reliance on the Website or its content, even if we were told such loss was possible.
Our total liability for any claim connected with the Website will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service that caused the claim, or INR 1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
11. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for losses, claims and reasonable legal costs that arise out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website or content you submit that breaks the law or someone’s rights.
12. Changes, suspension and termination
We may change the Website, add or remove features, or suspend access at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will give more prominent notice of material changes where reasonable. Using the Website after a change means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the Website at any time.
Installable app. You may install the Website as an app (a progressive web app) from your browser. The same Terms apply to the app. It is a way of opening the Website, not separate software: it is provided “as is”, pages saved for offline use may be out of date, it updates from the Website when you are online, and we may change or withdraw it at any time. You can remove it at any time by uninstalling it. See CloudBrum app and offline use for what is saved on your device.
Sections that by their nature should continue (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please first write to us at hello@cloudbrum.com so we can try to settle a dispute informally within 30 days.
If we cannot, the dispute will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual consent under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue will be Parashurampuri, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, and the language will be English. Subject to this, the courts at Parashurampuri, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India have exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers who have rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 keep those rights, including the right to approach a Consumer Commission.
14. Grievance Officer and contact
